June 11-12, 2021 – Wuhu Hetian Testing Center underwent a two-day reassessment by the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS) and successfully passed the review.
The center obtained its CNAS accreditation certificate (No. L13263) on April 16, 2020. Over the ensuing two years, to maintain accreditation and enhance capabilities, the center strengthened laboratory management by rigorously controlling all elements – personnel, equipment, materials, methods, environment, measurement, and samples – in compliance with CNAS criteria.
During reassessment, auditors evaluated all accreditation elements and technical capabilities against CNAS-RL01 and CNAS-CL01:2018. Auditors reviewed documentation, assessed management systems, and conducted on-site testing for 16 accredited test items via sampling.
At the closing meeting, the audit team recognized Hetian’s management system improvements while noting non-conformities. Led by Chief Auditor Mr. Ma, the center implemented corrective actions including comprehensive revision of system documents and staff training. All non-conformities were formally closed within two months under Director Hu’s oversight.
This reassessment marks a new beginning. Hetian will address operational gaps, continuously improve management and technical capabilities, and build a world-class enterprise laboratory to deliver robust support for corporate growth and enhanced value for global clients.
